Nancy Louise Roth, 70, of Wainwright, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.A daughter of the late William Toth Sr. and the late Marie (Nicolodi) Toth, Nancy was born May 26, 1941 at Wainwright, Ohio.Nancy graduated as the class valedictorian from St. Mary’s High School at Dennison in 1959. Then on October 7, 1961, she married the love of her life, Benjamin Russell Roth Sr. in St. Theresa’s Catholic Church at Wainwright and together they raised five children, Benjamin, Jill, Lori, Rusty and Becky. The couple shared 43 years of marriage prior to Ben’s passing on May 21, 2005.She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison and a member of the former St. Theresa’s Church at Wainwright. Nancy was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Theresa’s Church.Along with her husband, Nancy enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and Browns and taking drives through the countryside. The couple just simply enjoyed being in the company of each other.Nancy was always willing to help others and in most cases the first to do so. She will especially be remembered by her family for being an excellent baker. She was always making something up in the kitchen and if it wasn’t perfect it wasn’t acceptable to serve. Nancy also always enjoyed hosting and preparing Sunday dinners for her family.She is survived by her children , Benjamin (Tina) Roth of Pleasantville, Ohio, Jill (Duane) Schweitzer of Tuscarawas, Lori (Chris) Davis of Gnadenhutten, Rusty Roth of Wainwright and Becky (Doug) Henry of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Haylie Roth, Colton Roth, Katie Roth, Sarah (Don III) Braun, Zac (fiance, Tiffany Benafield) Schweitzer, Josh Schweitzer, Jessica (fiance, Joe Alvarez) Davis, Jacob Davis, Macey Roth, Malory Roth, Abagail Roth, A.J. Henry and Cameron Henry; great grandchildren, Hayden Alvarez and Isabelle Braun; step great grandchildren, Donnie Braun IV and Jordyn Braun; a sister, Betty Allensworth of New Philadelphia and two brothers, William Toth and Ted (Betty) Toth both of Wainwright.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Barbara Lovell and Dolores Toth.Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia with a Christian Wake Service being held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dennison with Father Jeff Coning officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia.Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 206 North First Street, Dennison, OH 44621.
