Nancy L. Haver

NANCY L. HAVER, 67, a life-long resident of Midvale, died in her home Monday evening, June 3, 2002.She was born at Union Hospital in Dover to the late William H. and Elta M. Parrish Abel and attended Midvale schools. On May 28, 1955 she married James Kenneth Lee Haver, who preceded her in death on January 6, 1983. Nancy had worked as a nurses’ aide for the South Broadway Nursing Home and the Hennis Care Centre. She enjoyed playing cards, especially “Uno” and she also liked to dance. Nancy was a member of the Midvale VFW Post, and was very proud of her community. Her greatest joy was being with her family. Nancy’s family includes her daughters, Sherry (Rick) Mackey, Robin (Doug) Cross, Tammy (Kenny) Law and her twin sister, Pammy (Tommy) Campbell, all of Midvale; her son, Wesley (Rise’) Haver of New Philadelphia; her grandkids, Travas and McKenzie Mackey, Shawndell Cross and her fiancé, Shaun Reynolds, Dougie Cross, Tascha Grosenbacher and Brittanie Law, Jamie Fausto, Angela and Jessica Crites, Brent (Marcy) Haver and Danielle (Earl) Zwissler; her great-grandkids, Shaun and Karissa Reynolds and Ariana Zwissler, who is expected June 15, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a son, Rusty Lee Haver on August 9, 1967, three sisters, Irene Kiser, Wanda Welch and Thelma Abel, two brothers Wayne and Donald Abel. Calling hours will be in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia on Thursday, June 6, 2002 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral will be in the funeral home on Friday, June 7, 2002 at 1:30 PM, with Rev. Larry R. Wonderley officiating and burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park. After the committal, a reception will be held in the Midvale Park Pavilion.
