Nancy Gibb

Nancy J. Gibb, 73, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born in Canton on December 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Betty (Richardson) Evans.

After graduating from the former Glenwood High School in Canton, she worked for more than 25 years at Ranger Trucking and then for 15 years with the Dover Moose Lodge #707 where she served as the bookkeeper.

She always was an avid supporter of the Ohio sports teams, including the Indians, Browns, and Buckeyes.

On February 28, 1993, she married Donald A. Gibb. Together, their family included sons, Richard T. (Chris) Royer of Tennessee, Ronald (Tracy) Gibb of Nova, Ohio, Randy Royer of Canton, and Steven (Tiffiny) Gibb of Dover; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol (Allen) Bonamy of Florida; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in passing by her sister, Marilyn Howenstein.

Private visitation will take place later this week. Cremation care will be provided through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover.
