Nancy Ellen St. John, 66, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in Union Hospital at Dover.A daughter of the late Robert O. and Virginia (Hartline) Linard, Nancy was born May 15, 1942 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.Nancy graduated in 1962 from New Philadelphia High School. Then in 1974, she became an Animal Technician through the Ohio State University and she followed that up with an associate degree in business administration from LaSalle University in 1982. Nancy worked as a Registered Animal Technician for many years and was also the owner and operator of Nancy’s Dial-A-Maid.She formerly attended the Cathedral of Life Church. Nancy was a former member of the Tuscora Saddle Club and also served as a Pink Lady at Union Hospital. Nancy enjoyed reading and music and more importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and friends.She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Dwight) Kerby of Brewster; a son, Edsel T. (Kathy) Dillon of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Pvt. 1st Class Timothy and Marisa Kerby, Spc. Robert, Kayla and Jonathan Dillon and Jennifer Lang; a great granddaughter, Serafina Raye Heiser-Dillon; a sister, Patricia (Raymond) Daniels of Dover; a brother, Robert Linard of Dover and many nieces and nephews..Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank “Doc” Fisher and one brother, Richard Linard.In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services and cremation has taken place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.”Till then”
