Nancy Ann Robinson

Nancy Ann Robinson, 72, of New Philadelphia, died early Thursday morning, May 20, 2010 at her home following a brief illness.A daughter of the late Leo and Margaret (McIntosh) Wise, Nancy was born January 28, 1938 at Dover, Ohio.Nancy was a 1956 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. She then attended Akron University where she was a member of the Lambda Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority.She retired from the Tuscarawas County Senior Center as the transportation secretary. Nancy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at New Philadelphia where she served as an elder. She was also a member of the Dover Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the Dover V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband Bud, especially to the Gulf of Mexico at Gulf Shores, Alabama.She is survived by her loving husband, Charles E. “Bud” Robinson whom she married on March 2, 1968; three children, Gary (Elizabeth) Robinson of Evansville, Indiana, Thomas Robinson of Brownsville, Minnesota and Betty Munzinger of Scottsdale, Arizona and eight grandchildren, Neil (Kate), Donovan, Patrick, Laura and Rebecca Robinson and Nicholas (Erica), Jonathan and Joshua Munzinger.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Christopher Murel and an infant sister, Bonnie Lee Wise.The family will receive guests on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Friday in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Greenwood officiating.
