Monica Jane Lindamood, 77, of Uhrichsville, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Zamborsky) Bodnar, Monica was born January 6, 1941 at Toronto, Ohio.

She was employed at various places over the years but she thoroughly enjoyed working at the former L & N Clothing at Uhrichsville. During her younger years she was an avid golfer and bowler and was a familiar face and active member with the Claymont Booster Club. Monica was also an avid Ohio sports fan. Most of all, she cherished her family and enjoyed when her home was crowded during family gatherings.

(Douglas) Hines of Uhrichsville; her grandchildren, Kathryn (Troy) Thompson, Callie (Joshua) Newman, Valerie (Thad Lengler) Lindamood and Lindy (Edward Lippencott) Conley; her great-grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, Riley, Decklan and Calan Patterson, Austin Conley, Alaina Patterson, Gage Thompson, Zackery Newman, Colton Lippencott and Liam Newman and two sisters, Eleanor Garren and MaryAnn Allen.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Connie Lindamood; five sisters and three brothers.
In keeping with Monica’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
