Mona Louise Miller

Mona Louise Miller, 88, a resident of Altercare in Canton, died Friday afternoon, February 20, 2004, in Aultman Hospital.Born September 2, 1915 in Massillon, she was one of fifteen children born to the late Frank Reginald and Kathleen Rabbitt-Tweedale Jenkins. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of Community Christian Church. On June 19, 1935, she wed Charles Harold Miller who after sixty years of marriage, preceded her in death on March 25, 1996. Together, they raised a family that includes daughters Carol Ann (Don) Danford of Alliance, Cynthia Louise (Gary) Stock of Massillon, Kathleen Jo (Jim) Dunn of Angola, IN, and Tammy (David) Florian of Canton; sons Charles Harold II (Sandra) Miller of Nashville, TN, David Paul (Sharon) Miller of Atlanta, GA, Scott Dale (Heather) Miller of Centennial, CO, and Stephen Lynn Miller of Gold River, CA. She’ll be sadly missed by twenty-five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Jack, Dean and Eugene. In addition to her parents and husband, four sisters and seven brothers precede her in death.Cremation has taken place at Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in New Philadelphia. A Celebration of Mona’s Life will be held Monday, March 1, at 11:00 AM in the Cathedral of Life, 4111 38th St. NW Canton, with pastor Dana Gammill officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the start of the service. A reception will be given in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Private family graveside services will follow in Center Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Louisville, O.
