Molly A. Rothacher

Molly A. Rothacher, age 60, of New Philadelphia passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 in Union Hospital at Dover following a brief illness.

Born December 24, 1951 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Winkler) Rothacher.

Molly was a 1970 graduate of Indian Valley North. She then began her career where she worked at both Alsco and the former Dairy Mart for 16 years each.

Molly is a member of Holmes United Methodist Church and was an avid cat lover.

She is survived by her nephew, Matthew D. McPherson of Strasburg; her brother-in-law, Dave McPherson of Strasburg; her cousins, Gloria Garl of Dover, Don (Lois) Wagner of Wooster, Dorothy Hahn of Orrville, and Donna Shaffer of Florida; and her cats, Taz, Lila, Precious and Smoky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melody K. McPherson and her infant sister, Linda Lou.

Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A memorial service celebrating Molly’s life will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 10, 2012 beginning at 6 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
