Mildred B. “Miki” Natoli, 86, of Uhrichsville passed away in the Community Hospice House April 2, 2015 surrounded by her family following a period of declining health.
Born in Uhrichsville on April 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Raymond and Myrtle Lee (Barnes) Keffer.
After completing her formal education at Uhrichsville High School, she was employed by Rinks Department Store for several years. She served as the manager of the electrical, plumbing, and paint department. Notably, she received Employee of the Year honors numerous years throughout her employment.
Miki had a love for children, raising 6 of her own. She was also a loving grandmother and an active foster grandmother through the Head Start programs of Uhrichsville and Dennison.
Her faith was nurtured at both the Foursquare Gospel Church in Dennison and also First Assembly of God in New Philadelphia. There, she shared her love for the Lord with many children while she taught Sunday School.
She will be deeply missed by her children including Rebecca (Doug) Demattio of New Philadelphia, Jan (Nancy) Natoli of Seninole, Florida, Tonya (Paul) Seibert of Las Vegas, Dana (Teri) Natoli, Mark (Pam) Natoli and Raschele (Todd) Hauber, all of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Heather (Mark) O’Connor, Eric (Bobi) Kinsey, Bo (Jody) Natoli, Lia (Matt) Von Kaenel, Ali Natoli, Nicholas Natoli, Matthew Demattio, and Brady Natoli; and her great-grandchildren, Rian and Garin O’Connor, Max, Grady, Jack, and Cy Kinsey, and Cohen Elle Von Kaenel and Brik Natoli.
In addition to her parents, Miki was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Raymond Keffer.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Miki’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Shawn Archer officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
Following the committal service, friends and family are invited to the Geib Family Center, located adjacent to the funeral home, where a meal will be shared.
