Mildred M. Peacock, age 91, of Orrville and formerly of Midvale, died Monday, May 31, 2010, in the home of her daughter following a period of declining health.Mildred was born at New Cumberland, Ohio on March 4, 1919, and was a daughter of the late Elmer and Myrtle (Graham) Renicker.For a number of years Mildred would hold employment with the former Berger Division of Republic Steel at Canton, Nickles Bakery at Navarre, New Era Potato Chips and Bell and Howell both of Wooster.Additionally, Mildred held memberships with the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Auxiliary both of Wooster.Mildred will be missed by her daughter, Patricia Blair of Orrville; four grandchildren, Scott Blair, Tonya (Dan) Besancon, Shade (Jodi) Blair, and Tony (Angie) Blair; a brother, Jerry Renicker and thirteen great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, W. Fred Peacock, who died in 1969, an infant son; three sisters, Helen McCartney, Dorothy Rusher, and Pauline Skwara and two brothers, Robert Renicker, and Elmer Renicker.The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, from 9:30 Â? 10:30 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Rev. Dr. Steven Bailey will lead a funeral service celebrating Mildred’s life in the funeral home’s chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
