Mildred Irene Kaderly, age 96, of Dover, died Monday, December 26, 2011, in Park Village Retirement Center at Dover following a period of declining health. A daughter of the late Homer and Millie (Kappeler) Kaderly, Mildred was born at New Philadelphia on August 19, 1915.She attended the former Sugarcreek Schools and entered the workforce as an assembly worker with Dover Appliance for 15 years and later was employed for 20 years by Dover molded prior to retiring.She was a long-time member of the First United Church of Christ at Sugarcreek and held memberships with the Steelworkers Retirees Association of Dover and the Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens. Additionally, Mildred enjoyed traveling with her family and quilting with the ladies of her church congregation.She is survived by a sister, Marian Prysi of Dover; and a special niece and long-time caregiver, Peg (Robert) Jones of Dundee as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Wilmer, Curtis, and Raymond Kaderly.The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 1:00 â?? 2:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Darcy Miller, will lead a celebration of Mildred’s life on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Burial in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia will follow.Following the service, friends are invited to share in fellowship and light refreshments in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the New Philadelphia funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions in Mildred’s name may be directed to the First United Church of Christ at Sugarcreek, 526 W. Main Street, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.
