Mildred E. Tschudy

Mildred E. “Midge” Tschudy, 78, of New Philadelphia, passed away Saturday evening, March 12, 2005 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.A daughter of the late Charles A. and Verna O. (Stiffler) Glazier, Midge was born November 1, 1926 in New Philadelphia.She was a 1945 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia. She was also an avid Bingo and card player.On March 13, 1976, Midge married Russell E. Tschudy, who survives. Midge is also survived by a step-daughter, Lynne R. of Canton; a step-son, Steven R. of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Ruth (Howard) Rippel of Canton and Marguerite “Peg” Benbow of Clearwater, Florida; two brothers, Glenn (Linda) Glazier of Ft. Worth, Texas and Charles R. “Bob” Glazier of New Philadelphia; and nieces and nephews, Joyce (John) Frank, David (Susan) Ripple, Jane Ripple, Jill (Roy) Dimmerling, Jack (Marie) Dimmerling, Janice (Jim) Dimmerling, Dianna (John) Adamek, Don (Amy) Glazier, Spence (Diane) Benbow, Jean Danielson, Jane (George) Kaczmarek, John Glazier, Roberta (Bobbie) Jackson, Patty (Ron) Brinkley, Jim Bretzius, John Bretzius, Joan Bretzius, Patty Glazier, Sandy Parrish, Kathy Fontana and Julie Finnicum and many great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dean, Russell and Don; one sister, Gertrude Bretzius and one niece, Sally Benbow.In keeping with Midge’s wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation will be conducted at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 3:00p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Pastor Michael Walters officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 202 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
