Michael T. Kerper

Michael Todd Kerper, 48, of New Philadelphia died in his home August 9, 2005.Born February 7, 1957 in Dover, he was the son of Lester T. Kerper and the late Beverly A. (Korns) Kerper.Mike was both a graduate of Dover High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia. He enjoyed greeting people on the streets of New Philadelphia and offered help to many.In addition to his father, Mike is survived by his siblings, Steve (Christina) Kerper of New Philadelphia, Jeffrey Kerper of New York, and Raymond Kerper of New Philadelphia; and his nieces, Stacy and Christine Kerper.A memorial service celebrating Mike’s life will be held in the Worship Center at the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s memory to the First Baptist Church, 878 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
