Michael Lee Adams

Michael Adams, 58, Dover, died Thursday night, October 30, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.A son of Mary Miller Adams and the late Harold E. Adams, Michael was born December 1, 1944, in Dover, and was a l963 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.He was a 37-year employee of Republic Technologies, Inc., in Canton before his retirement in January of 2002. A member of Dover Moose Lodge, the Dover Eagles, and Steel Workers Union Local 1200, Michael was an avid fisherman and traveler.He is survived by his mother, a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Aden Schrock of New Philadelphia; his fiancée, Roberta “Bobbie” Moser of New Philadelphia; an uncle, Howard Edie of New Philadelphia; and a cousin James (JoAnn) Edie of Dover.Michael was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, an aunt, and his beloved dog, Princess.Services will be Monday, November 3, 2003, at 2:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Glenn Carlisle officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, from 1-3 or 6-8 PM. Burial will be at Evergreen Burial Park.
