Michael E Couch

Michael E. “Mike” Couch, 47, of Dover past away Saturday, April 21, 2012.

A son of Dale E (Izena “Ikie”) Couch and the late Charlene (Musick) Nealey, Mike was born June 22, 1964 in Dover.

He graduated from New Philadelphia High School, and then joined the military where Mike served for nearly 8 years.

He was most recently employed as a deep miner near Centerville, O. Mike also served as a corrections officer in Noble County.

Mike took great pride in caring for his daughters and granddaughter, Madaline Dobrich. He also loved country music and being with friends.

He is survived by his family which includes his father and step-mother; his wife, Angie Couch and her children Jacob and Sydney Pritts; his daughters, Jacqueline and Michelle Couch, both of Holloway, O.; his sister, Debra Couch of Uniontown, PA; his brothers, Dale Allen Couch of Brandenton, FL, Ronnie D. Couch of Mayakka, FL, and Tony A. Couch of Italy; his half-sister, Darla Nealey of New Philadelphia; his step-brothers, Randy L Wallick of New Philadelphia, Jim D Wallick of Gnadenhutten , and Garry Wallick of New Philadelphia; and his step-sister, Patricia Pankratz of Cleveland.

Cremation has been cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A memorial service will be held in the First Church of God, 824 Tuscarawas Ave. NW, New Philadelphia, on Friday, April 27 beginning at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia where the New Philadelphia V.F.W. #1445 will render military honors.
