Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson, age 69, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Ohio’s Hospice Truman House after a period of declining health.

Mike was born on December 31, 1955 at Dover, to the late Eugene and Hazel (Patterson) Anderson.

He always enjoyed being busy and loved to work hard. In his free-time, he enjoyed fishing and going shopping with his sister. He also loved his cats.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Brenda (Dave Hodkinson) Lintz of New Philadelphia, and Regina Hershberger of Canton; nieces and nephews, Tara (Chris) May, Julian Hershberger, Lucas Hershberger, and London Hershberger; and his best friends, Barry and Diane Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debra Murphy; and grandparents, Clarence and Mildred Anderson.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory and no services are planned at this time.
