Melinda S. “Mindy” Rose

Melinda S. “Mindy” Rose, 50, of Dennison passed away suddenly in her sleep on April 3, 2016.

Born in Dennison on November 23, 1965 she was the daughter of Margaret Marie (Gano) Haney of Uhrichsville and the late Bobby Ray Haney.

Mindy was a loving daughter, sister, mom, grandmother and friend who spent her life caring for each of them in a unique way. She was an active member of the Uhrichsville Eagles where she held numerous offices as well as a District Chairperson.

Mindy married Charles Junior Rose, whom she was devoted to throughout her lifetime until his death on July 26, 2006.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Charles R. “Chuck” (fiancé, Anya Swinderman) Rose of Uhrichsville, Brittany S. Rose Donehue of Dennison, and Kayla R. Rose of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Tyson, Cloey, and Madison Rose, Makina Donehue, Adriana Polilli, Kiara and Tanner Vandine, and Makia Cox; her companion, Wilbur Everett of Uhrichsville; her siblings, Tina M (Randy) Kinsey of Dennison, Tammy (Frank) White of New Philadelphia, and Barb (fiancé, Mike Hammary) Page of Dennison; her special nieces, Emily Page, Nichole Watson, and Hannah Hammary; her mother-in-law, Beverly Rose; in addition to many other loving and caring extended family members.

Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. and a service beginning at 2 pm. An Eagles service will begin at 1:45 pm. Cremation will follow and private inurnment in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville will follow at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to any family member to offset expenses they have incurred.
