Maxine Shott, 83, of Dover, died early Tuesday morning, February 20, 2007, in the Inn at Belden Village at Canton, Ohio.A daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Snyder) Zollar, Maxine was born on November 15, 1923 at Dover. In 1942, Maxine graduated from Dover High School. She was a bookkeeper for the family owned business of Dover Jeep Sales.Maxine was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Tuscarawas County Historical Society, Tuscarawas County Genealogical Society, Palette Club, and the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her infant brother Daniel Henry Zollar.She is survived by her daughters, Cenie E. (Ronald) Simmers of Canton, Ohio, Susan M. (Jack) Mason of New Philadelphia; grand children, Ronald (Shannon) Simmers of Englewood, Florida, C. Michelle (Troy) Fowler of Massillon, Ohio, Leslee (Charan) Singh of Boston, Massachusetts, Tiffanie (William) Parry of Newcomerstown, Ohio, Jacquelyn (Dr. Matthew) Knoch of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Brianna Fowler, C. Mikayla Fowler, Joban Singh, Megan B. Parry.Friends are invited to call Thursday, February 22, 2007, from 6:00Â?8:00 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.Funeral services will be Friday, February 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover.
