Mary Martha ‘marty’ Sallade

Mary Martha “Marty” Sallade, age 48, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer.Born October 28, 1961, at Bethesda, Maryland, Marty was the daughter of Mary Frances (Boyd) Bair of Dover and the late Hugh Allen Schott. Marty graduated from Coventry High School at Akron and continued her formal education, receiving her LPN Training at Canton, Ohio. Most recently, Marty cleaned for local area businesses. Marty will long be remembered as a dear friend who never hesitated to help a friend or stranger who may have been in need. In addition to her mother, Marty will be deeply missed by her sons; Robert David “Bobby” and Jason Allen Sallade, both of New Philadelphia; her former husband, Robert Sallade; her brothers, Lou Schott, Robert Schott, and Tom (Jeasica) Schott; her sisters, Peggy Korns, Mary Beth Bridebaugh, Kim (George) Breehl and Claire Hawk; and her aunts and uncles, Martha and Lee Gierschick, and Joan and Henry Marconi.Marty also leaves behind her loving and attentive best friend, her 3-year-old German Shepherd-Sharpei mix, Sweet Pea; and her dear friends, Ruth Ann and Kim, who sat with her on numerous occasions.Family and friends will gather to celebrate Marty’s life in the home of Mike and Roberta Milligan, 2429 Valley View Lane, New Philadelphia, on Sunday, September 19, 2010, from 2 â?? 5 PM.
