Mary M. Dearth, 78 of Perrysburg, O, formerly of Dover, died peacefully Saturday, November 30, 2002 in St. Luke’s Hospital at Toledo, O. Born March 31, 1924 in Nashville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Mary King and Hugh Waddel Miller. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. On April 13, 1981, her husband James L. Dearth preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters; Debbie Tedesco of New Philadelphia, Therese (Dale) Abbuhl of Bolivar, Peggy (Jeff) Mogg of Maumee, O, a son; Michael Hedgpath of Newark, O, five granddaughters; Melissa (Buck) Uebel of Dover, Shea, Kelly, and Kayla Mogg all of Maumee, O, and Amy Hedgpath of Newark O, five grandsons; Ryan Tedesco of New Phialdelphia, Herb (Brad Olney) Kreiter of Sacramento, CA, Jason (Jamie) Kreiter, of Gotha, FL, Max Hedgpath of Newark, O, and Jimmy Abbuhl of Scio, O, four great-grandchildren; Braeden & Braxton Uebel of Dover and Brandon & Ricky Kreiter of Orlando, FL, two sisters; Marie (Knox) Ridley and Teresa (Donald) Dickinson, both of Tennessee. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters; Sandra Hedgpath and Mary Dearth, brother; Thomas P. Miller and infant twin sister and brother Josephine and Joseph Miller. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at 1 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father William Metzger as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dover Township.Friends may call Tuesday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with prayers beginning at 12:20. Following the committal service, a meal will be served in Fellowship Hall at St. Joseph. Memorial Contributions may by made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 613 North Tuscarawas Avenue, Dover, OH, 44622, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
