Mary M. Conconi

Mary M.Conconi, 87, New Philadelphia, died at her home on Wednesday morning, December 1, 2004.A daughter of the late Fiorindo and Elizabeth Ruffini Casimirri, Mary was born on October 1, 1917, in Dennison, OH.She was married to Reno F. Conconi for nearly 38 years before his death in September of l977. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia, the church Altar Society, the Dennison VFW Auxiliary, and the Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens. She had been employed by both Dover Molded Plastics and the New Philadelphia City Schools.She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Rhodes of Canton and Elizabeth J. (David C.) Hipp of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Lisa Rhodes, Christine (Dan) Hanna, Nathan Coutts, and Greta Coutts; sister, Rose (Ernest) Flanagan of Florida; brothers, Reynold (Clara) and Armond (Alice), all of Dennison, and Anthony of Akron; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her long-time special friend, William E. “Stocky” Stocksdale.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant brother; her sister-in-law; and her son-in-law, Richard W. Rhodes.Visitation will be at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, December 3, 2004, from 5 Â? 8 p.m. with the Christian Wake Service beginning at 7:45 p.m. On Saturday, December 4, prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:40 a.m. and will be followed by a procession to Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. George J. Schlegel at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
