Mary Jane Reichman

The life of Mary Jane Reichman, age 89, of New Philadelphia and formerly of Tuscarawas, came to an end late Friday afternoon, December 22, 2007, in Beacon Pointe Center at Uhrichsville.
Born at Tuscarawas, August 22, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Beaber Metzger.
A homemaker her entire life, Mary attended Roxford United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Reichman whom she married on June 23, 1934. The couple celebrated forty-nine years of marriage prior to his death, March 19, 1984.
Survivors include loving friends Veronica Cunningham, Ida and Lyman Brokaw and her caregiver and neighbor, Nancy J. Engel of New Philadelphia. Numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.
The Reverend Bud Milligan will lead Mrs. Reichman’s Funeral Wednesday morning, December 26, 2007 at 11 AM in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Friends are invited to call one hour prior to the service. A private burial will follow in Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery.
