Mary Gopp

Mary Gopp, 94, of Dover and formerly of Massillon, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

A daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Ulrich) Gopp, Mary was born April 26, 1923 at New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Mary graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1942.  She had worked as a foreman for Ohio Brass at Barberton Ohio for 37 years.

Mary is survived by her great niece and care giver, Kathy (Bob) Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nine brothers, Lester, Dewey, Frank, Clarence, Charles, Lauren, Robert, Albert and Clinton Gopp and two sisters, Caroline Lewis and Beatrice Fragasse.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.  A service celebrating Mary’s life will follow at 1:30 PM in the funeral home’s chapel with Pastor Terry Wilcox officiating.  Burial will follow at East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
