Mary Elizabeth Walton

Mary E. Wires Walton, 85, of Dover, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at the Country Club Retirement Center in Dover.A daughter of Earl and Alta Owen Wires, Mary was born November 27, 1918, in Canton, O.She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Philadelphia, enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling to Florida and Canada and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Mary is survived by daughters, Mrs. Carroll L. (Carolyn) McCammon of Westerville, O. and Mrs. Ron A. (Cheryl) Baker of Dover; sons, David E. (Mary Jane) Walton of Dover and Dan (Linda) Walton of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Michael McCammon, Michelle Gallagher, Jason and Tim Baker, Amy Wikoff, Tisha Broad, David Walton; and great grandsons, Brayden Wikoff and Quinn Gallagher.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd E. Walton who died December 20, 1995; four sisters and four brothers.Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2004 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2004, 1 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in New Philadelphia with the Rev. Terry Kidd officiating.
