Mary Elizabeth Headrick

Mary Elizabeth Headrick, age 85, of, Midvale died Sunday, October 4, 2020, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a period of declining health.

Born in the family home at Brewster, Ohio on November 15, 1934, Mary was a daughter of the late Agnes Niedenthal Gradijan.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School at Canton and was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Country Club Retirement Campus at Dover for 20 years.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed adult coloring books, collecting coins, chatting with friends, cutting out ads from catalogs and magazines, and caring for her cats.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy A. Headrick of Midvale, five grandchildren and their families; her siblings, Joe, Eva and Margaret; her caregivers, Michelle Tasha, Macy, and Debbie.

In addition to her mother, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Lela J. Headrick, a son, John R. Headrick, Jr, and a brother, George.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care will be conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. A private inurnment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
