Mary E. Everett

Mary E. Everett, 87, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, November 10, 2014 in Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Carpenter) Davis, Mary was born December 23, 1926 at Wainwright, Ohio.

Mary graduated from Midvale High School and was formerly employed at Conley’s Department Store and Merit Plastics. She was also a member of Roxford United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and playing cards. Most of all Mary will be remembered for her caring and generous personality.

She is survived by her husband, Larry L. Everett whom she married on March 23, 1996; a sister, Nellie of Goshen; a brother, Charles Davis of Strasburg; five children, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy O. Medley who passed away on July 14, 1994; a son; two sisters and one brother.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes there will be no calling hours and a private family graveside service will take place in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia with Pastor Ron Heasley officiating.
