Mary Catherine Comignaghi

Mary Catherine Comignaghi, 68, of Dover, died November 1, 2016 in the Cleveland Clinic following a recent illness.

A daughter of the late Jasper Ray and Elizabeth Jane (Varner) Flaherty, Mary was born July 31, 1948 in Terra Alta, West Virginia.

Mary had been a longtime Executive Housekeeper at both the Comfort Inn and Country Inn & Suites at Dover. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and she enjoyed reading.

She will be remembered by her family as being a strong and independent woman and also for having a loving and generous spirit.

She is survived by her sons, Brock Rennicker of Dover, Clark (Missy) Rennicker of Uhrichsville, Dustin Rennicker of New Philadelphia, Heath (Brandy) Comignaghi of Dover and Jason (Virginia) Comignaghi of Canton; her grandchildren, Brock, Brittany, Chad and Cory Rennicker, Cody Barnes and Tabitha Rennicker, Adam, Zachary, Samuel and Jason Rennicker and Jade Weaver; four great grandchildren, Brantley Barnes, Anthony Rennicker and Landon and Olivia Rennicker and three siblings, Wanda, Liz and Chuck.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Arley, Elmer and Fran.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A funeral service celebrating Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Randy Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park at Dover.
