Mary C. Kerschbaumer, age 90, of Dover, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at Country Club Retirement Campus.Mary was born on March 24, 1914 in Barnhill, Ohio to the late Joseph and Phillipina (Valenti) Police.Mary attended Midvale Schools. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Philadelphia and was previously a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Midvale. She was a member of the LCBA and the Altar Society at Sacred Heart as well as the Sacred Heart Senior Citizens Group.Mary was primarily a homemaker, although she and her late husband operated a store and restraint in Midvale in the 1950’s.Mary is survived by two sons, William F. (Jackie) Kerschbaumer of Carrolton and Joseph P. (Rose) Kerschbaumer of New Philadelphia. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Sisters, Angie Ferchill of New Philadelphia, Millie Ginnetti of New Philadelphia and Nellie Civello of Uhrichsville and on brother Charles (Elizabeth) Police of California. She also is survived by one brother-in-law, Guido Civello of New Philadelphia.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her Husband, Frederick J. Kerschbaumer in 1962. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Kerschbaumer, six brothers, and three sisters.Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with a wake service being held at 8:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 23, 2003 at 10:30AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Philadelphia with Msgr. George Schlegel officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. A reception will be held at St. Ambrose Hall immediately following the burial.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart Altar Society and/or the Sacred Heart Youth Group, 139 Third Street, NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663
