Mary Ann Noretto

Mary Ann Noretto, 77, of Austin, Texas and formerly of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023 in Austin.

Born in Dennison, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Luella P. (Henry) Noretto and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School at Dennison. Mary Ann was an accomplished musician and, in her youth, she played the organ and the piano at Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison before moving to Texas.

Mary Ann is survived by her sister, Marsha Ripley of New Philadelphia; a niece, Mary Rhinehart of North Dakota and a great-nephew, Jarrett Maher of Kent.

In addition to her parents, a niece, Valerie Ripley, also preceded her in death.

In keeping with her wishes, Mary Ann is to be cremated and a private graveside service will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Dennison with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia has been entrusted with her arrangements.
