Mary Angela Ciereszewski

Mary Angela (Checca) Ciereszewski, 78, of Dover, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at her home.She was born April 10, 1926 in Martins Ferry, Ohio.Mary enjoyed sports and was an avid reader and gardener.She is survived by her husband, John Ciereszewski, whom she married June 1, 1946 in Tiltonsville, Ohio; one son, Darrel (Susie) Ciereszewski of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Adam (Rachel) Ciereszewski, Michael Ciereszewski, Meg (Chris) Greene and Jennifer Unrue; and three great-grandchildren, Chandler Ciereszewski, John Unrue and Harold Unrue.Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Marino; step-father, John Marino; and one son, Jerome Ciereszewski.Mary loved her family dearly and she loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as her cousins.In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation will take place at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A private service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2005 in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Father William Arnold officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 301 N. Wooster Ave., Dover, OH 44622.
