Mary A. Knisely

Mary “Molly” A. Knisely, 92, of Cabot, Pennsylvania, formerly of New Philadelphia, Ohio, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Concordia Nursing Home in Pennsylvania.A daughter of the late John U. and Ida May Heldt Horger, Molly was born August 8, 1912, in New Philadelphia.She retired from the New Philadelphia Public School’s where she had worked as a secretary for the high school principal, and was a former member of the First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia.Molly is survived by her brother, Robert H. Horger, of Cabot, PA, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband W. J. “Sonny” Knisely, who died April 26, 1985; three sisters and two brothers.A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia with Rev. Jeffrey Gerber officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory of New Philadelphia has been entrusted with the arrangements.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Rd.
