Martha Ann Jacobs

Martha Ann Jacobs, 79, of New Philadelphia passed away August 28, 2015 in Hennis Care Center in Dover following a period of declining health.

Born June 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Camden) Jacobs. She was a 1954 graduate of Strasburg High School.

Martha worked as a sales clerk for WalMart and was also a member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities and in her free time enjoyed playing cards and games and working on crafts. Earlier in her life, Martha also enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her sons, Donald J. (Ruthellen) Aul, Jr of Beach City, Kevin D. Aul of Pennsylvania, Mark (Lorrie) A. Aul of Tampa, Florida, and Tim S. (Jill) Aul of Dover; her brothers, Leroy Jacobs and Roger Jacobs, both of Massillon and Kenneth Jacobs of Florida; her grandchildren, Shannon, Trenda, Ashley, Kevin, Bethany, Sheri, Illisha, Christopher, Joshua, Jacob, and Rachel and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Jacobs, and her sister, Ruth Ciesielczyk.

In keeping with Martha’s wishes private family services will be held with cremation care being conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
