Mark S. Schwartz

Mark S. Schwartz, 33, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 10, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.Born April 11, l970 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the second son of James and Phyllis Richards Schwartz. He was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School, and formerly employed as a cook at Ponderosa Steak House in New Philadelphia, and at Belden Brick in Sugarcreek. Mark enjoyed a variety of musical styles and performers and was planning to enter the field of communications. He also had a special love for animals.Mark was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dover.He is survived by his father, with whom he resided; his mother, a brother, Michael Schwartz, and half-sister, Beth Ann Egan, all of Pittsburgh; an aunt, several cousins and several great-aunts.He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.The Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, September 13, 2003, at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dover, with Father William Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia.
