Marian C. Marsh

Marian Carol Marsh, 90, formerly of Dover, died Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton, Ohio.The daughter of Harry Edwin Marsh and Beryl Austin Marsh, she was born April 8, 1914, and was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold “Hal” Austin Marsh and Richard Graydon Marsh.Marian was a professional dancer and model, using the stage name Jill Townsend. She lived most of her life in New York City, returning to Ohio after her retirement.She is survived by nephew Lawrence MacArthur Marsh of Dayton, OH; niece Susanne Marsh Getter of Viroqua, WI; grandniece, Pamela Marsh Marks of Oxford, OH; grandnephews, Edward Marsh of Davenport, FL, and Glenn Marsh of San Jose, CA; and numerous cousins.According to Marian’s wishes, her body was cremated under the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & CrematoryGraveside services will be Monday, August 23, 2004, at 1:30 pm at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia with Rev.
