Margery T. Graeff, 84, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 in Union Hospital in Dover.A daughter of the late Dr. John Vernon Taylor and Elsie Cooper Taylor, Margery was born November 11, 1921 in Glen Elder, Kansas.She was a 1938 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Margery then graduated cum laude from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1941.Margery was formerly employed as a secretary for Miracle Adhesives Corporation and Fab Ohio.Margery was a member of First Presbyterian Church at New Philadelphia for over 70 years where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a deacon, trustee, an elder and also a member of the bell choir. She was also a former member of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority, Mu Chapter and the Tuscarawas Duplicate Bridge Club.Margery is survived by her children, Todd (Mary) Graeff of Flagstaff, Arizona, Taylor (Karen) Graeff of New Philadelphia and Charlotte (Ralph) Stice of Rockwell, Maryland; grandchildren, Leslie (Keith) Kreinbihl of Normal, Illinois, Carrie (Eric) Ramoz of Bend, Oregon and Allison Stice and Phillip Stice both of Rockwell, Maryland.Margery was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Dean G. Warner and her husband William G. Graeff whom she married December 17, 1942. In keeping with Margery’s wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church at New Philadelphia with Rev. Michael Seely officiating.
