Margery Mae Garber

Margery Mae Garber, 82, of Strasburg died suddenly Sunday morning, October 24, 2004 at her home.Margery, who was a member of First Lutheran Church in Strasburg, was born on October 14, 1922 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Thomas and Alta (Spring) Aubihl.She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Garber, whom she married on March 3, 1946 in Greenup, Kentucky. Also surviving are her children; Gary (Tooie) Garber of Strasburg, Marlene Barnhart of Waynesburg, Adena (Ken) Myers of Strasburg, Richard (Lori) Garber of Strasburg, Jack (Tanya) Garber and Tim (Kelley) Garber of Strasburg, Grandsons; Jacob Myers, Race Garber, Lucas Garber and Caleb Garber, Granddaughters; Nikola Garber, Bindy (Matt) Lancaster, Amber Garber, Elizabeth (Ryan) Dean, Talia Garber, Katie Garber and Lisa Garber; and two great-grandsons.In addition to her parents, Margery was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Malia Myers, one son-in-law, Gerald Barnhart and one brother.In keeping with Margery’s wishes, cremation has been conducted at Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory. There will be no visitation or funeral service observed.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First Lutheran Church, 211 Eighth Street SW, Strasburg, OH 44680.
