Margaret J. Jackson, 83, of Dover, formerly of Uhrichsville, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at her residence following an extended illnessBorn November 1, 1919, in Goshen, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Ellwood and Eva Mae Eck Wilson. Margaret graduated High School in 1937 in Mooseheart, Illinois. She then went on to graduate from Mooseheart Beauty School. She spent her time working as a homemaker and caring for her family. Margaret was a member of the Christian Fellowship in Uhrichsville and a life member of Mooseheart Alumni. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband and also playing Bingo. Surviving are two daughters, Linda (John) Popick of Arizona and Victoria (David) Behra of New Philadelphia, one son, Thomas (Sandra). Cox of Goshen; five grandchildren, Jeff (Jill) Becker, Scott Becker (& companion Brandee Hull), Jerry Rubright (fiancé Stacy German), Christina Shamel, Tara (Jimmy) Baron; seven great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her first husband, John L Cox who died August 11, 1960; her second husband, Kenneth R. Jackson who died September 16, 1999; two brothers; one sister.Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 18, 2003, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia. A funeral service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19, at 11:00 AM, in the funeral home, with Pastor Javier Acosta officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Geib Family Center, which is located adjacent to the funeral home.
