Margaret Eleanor Williams

Margaret Eleanor Williams, 93, of New Philadelphia died Tuesday August 24, 2004 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.She was born September 8, 1910 at New Philadelphia to the late Daniel and Bertha (Davy) Wise and was a 1930 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Dover. Margaret was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Sacred Heart Senior Citizens.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Francis J. Williams August 26, 1977; 4 sisters; a brother; and a grandson.Survivors include, daughters, Mrs. Gene E. (Janet J.) Barnes and Mrs. Max (Anna Mary) Ball both of New Philadelphia; sons, William D. Williams of Louisville, James H. Williams of East Canton, and Robert A. Williams of Zoarville, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2004, 10:30AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory with Msgr. George J. Schlegel officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home where a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:45PM. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia with a reception to follow at the Geib Family Center.
