Margaret E. Colletti

Margaret E. Colletti, 92, of Midvale, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in her home following a period of declining health.A daughter of the late Myrtle Wilson, Margaret was born July 6, 1918 at Midvale, Ohio.Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She also cleaned homes for others for more than 40 years and most recently for Kathy Pietro.She enjoyed cooking and baking and often times she would do so in order to give it to her family and neighbors.She is survived by her children, Charles (Alice) Colletti of Dover, Mary (Ralph) Gaut of Navarre, Shirley (Dick) DeMattio of Midvale and Nicholas (Sheryl) Colletti of Uhrichsville; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; three sisters, Vera Wilson, Wonette Quillen and Mary King all of Midvale; a brother, George (Helen) Wilson of Midvale and many nieces and nephews.Margaret was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Nicholas F. Colletti whom she married on April 10, 1936; a sister, Betty Creager and a brother, Donald Waltz.The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Flood officiating.
