Margaret Ann Marino, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home with her family at her side, early Saturday evening, May 21, 2011 at the age of 79.Born at Dover, February 12, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Mildred V. Bambeck and Norbert H. Brisgal. A graduate of St. Joseph High School, Margaret was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a member of the L.C.B.A., the Christian Mothers, and most recently served as a greeter. Margaret was also a member of the Al-Anon of Tuscarawas County, and deeply believed in helping those with addiction.She’ll be remembered by her family as a homemaker, who devoted her life to the care of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As a young lady, Margaret went to work for the late William P. Marino as a bookkeeper. While working there, she met and fell in love with Mr. Marino’s younger brother, Michael P. who has always been known as “Lucky Mike”. The couple wed November, 26, 1953, and observed their 57th wedding anniversary last year. Survivors, in addition to her husband of the home, include her eight children; daughters Maureen (husband, Tim) Muldovan, of Dover, Barb Berndt of Bolivar, Nance (husband, Rannie) Cox of Navarre, Julie (husband, Ed) Moore of Millersburg, NC, Lisa (husband, Tim) Wolfe of Finley, OH, and sons; Mark Marino of New Philadelphia, Jim (wife, Kathy) Marino Strongsville, OH, and Mike (wife, Shona) Marino of Dennison.She’ll be sadly missed by nine grandchildren; Todd Contini , Jennifer Berndt, Joseph Berndt, Christopher Berndt, Vicki Berndt, Joshua Marino, Dalton Marino, Rebecca Wolfe, and Jessica Moore. Ten great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by a brother, John F. Brisgal.Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4-7 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, where Christian Wake Services will commence at 6:45. Father Matthew Hoover will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial Thursday morning at 10:30 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Family and friends will gather at Geib Funeral Center for prayers and the procession to church at 9:45. A luncheon reception held at Geib Funeral Center, will follow Mass.
