Margaret A. Burson

Margaret A. Burson, 60, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in her home following a period of declining health.A daughter of Naomi (Dahler) Hill of New Philadelphia and the late Robert Hill, Margaret was born June 29, 1951.Margaret was a 1969 graduate of Indian Valley North High School and was a member of Sharon Moravian Church at Tuscarawas. She was also an avid supporter of the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.She is survived by her husband, Jeff Burson whom she married on August 9, 1989; two sons, Brian (Shanan) Steed and Jason Steed both of Uhrichsville;a step daughter, Sabine Burson of Germany; three grandchildren, Justen, Sarah and Bobby Steed; a brother, Robert (Bonnie) Hill of New Philadelphia and nieces and nephews.In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory and the family will receive friends on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service celebrating Margaret’s life will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.
