Mae Fahner, 85, New Philadelphia, died Monday, December 8, 2003, at Union Hospital in Dover.Born in Tuscarawas, OH, on March 12, 1918, she was one of twin daughters born to the late James H. and Bertha Leona Oswald Stull.She was married to Robert Fahner on March 15, l946, and during their 57 years of marriage enjoyed her life’s role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She also spent time at Union Hospital, where she was a member of their housekeeping department for 15 years. Mae enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking, and caring for others.She was a member of the Schoenbrunn Moravian Church. Mae will be missed by her husband, her daughter, Cheryl (Norman) Kadri of New Philadelphia; son, Jeff (Vicki) Fahner of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Stacey (John) Kastor of New Philadelphia, Mark (Melissa) Fahner of Cincinnati, Matthew (Erica) Fahner of Roseville, CA, and Eric Fahner, of New Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Fahner of New Philadelphia, and Chad Fahner of Cincinnati; brothers, Charles Oran Stull and James Warren Stull of Uhrichsville; and sister-in-law, Jean (Dick) Mathias of New Philadelphia.She was preceded in death by an infant son, William Eugene; her twin sister, June Schwendiman; sisters, Betty Reichman and Margaret Brady; and one brother, Arthur Stull.Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 2 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2003, with the family present from 2 Â? 4 and 6 Â? 8 pm. Services will be on Thursday, December 11, at 10:30 am in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park.
