Mable Lorene Fox

Mable Lorene Fox, 87, of Beavercreek, formerly of Tuscarawas, Ohio, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Hospice of Dayton. Born April 25, 1915 in Mt. Healthy, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Curtis E. and Harriet G. McCullough Wardell. Mable was a member of Sharon Moravian Church. In 1975, she retired from Indian Valley School District where she had been head cook at the Tuscarawas Elemetery School for many years.Surviving is a daughter, Becky Jorgenson of Beavercreek; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Jorgenson, Jennifer (Charlie) Back both of Beavercreek, Julie (Bill) Hocker of Dayton; five great-grandchildren, Josie Grace and Brenna Cathryn Jorgenson, Jackson Charles and Madison Lorene Back, and Cody William Hocker; and one sister, Eileen Clark of New Philadelphia. In addition to her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and a grandson, William Fox Jorgenson, preceded her in death.Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 28, 2003, from 3-7 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, in New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, at 2 PM at the Sharon Moravian Church in Tuscarawas with Rev. Michael Foran officiating. Burial will follow at the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the giver’s local Heart Association.
