M. Jean Daniels, 92, of Roswell, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015 following a period of declining health.
Born in Roswell on December 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Franklin B. and Kitty (Francis) Morrison. Jean was a 1941 graduate of Midvale High School.
Her professional career spanned 20 years as a clerk with Hartz Family in the men and boy departments. After retirement, Jean still enjoyed going to lunch with other retired employees of Hartz.
Her faith was previously nurtured at the E. U. Brethren Church in Roswell, and was currently a member at Otterbein United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia.
Jean is survived by her loving family including her children, Marla Tidrick of Tuscarawas, Susan (Tom) Myers of New Philadelphia, and Thomas (Marlene) Daniels, Jr. of Dover; her grandchildren, Mark (Mary) Tidrick, David Tidrick, Lori Daniels, Emily (Casey) Burcher, Casey (Mindy) Myers, Ryan (Jen) Daniels, Darcy (Matt) Williams, Tyler (Michele) Myers, and Kyle (Brittany) Myers; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Palmer, Rheta Cox, Edna Phillabaum, Dorothy Morrison, Franklin Morrison and Glen Morrison; in addition to several infant brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel in New Philadelphia on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. with Rev. Wally Anderson officiating. A meal will follow in St. James Lutheran Church, 215 Church St., Tuscarawas, Ohio 44682.
