Lula May Tanner

Lula May (nee: Icenogle) Tanner, age 90, of Country Club Retirement Campus, Dover departed this life on February 1, 2015 after a brief illness.

Lula was born on July 11, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond & Esther (nee: Tack) Icenogle. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert E. Tanner.
She is survived by her four children Judith (Jack) Tanner-Reid of Lyndhurst, OH; Charles Tanner of Sarasota, FL; James (Tina) Tanner of North Olmsted, OH; and Cheryl (Tom) Price-Abel of Mineral City, OH; four grandchildren Kathryn (John) Dean of Boston Hts., OH; Jessica (Erik) Samuelson of New York, NY; Lauren Tanner of Murfreesboro, TN; and Stephen Tanner of Cincinnati, OH; and two great-grandchildren Genevieve & Madeleine Dean.

Lula was a loving mother and grandmother; a lifelong devoted Lutheran, and was a very special lady who will forever hold a place in our hearts. She will be greatly missed.

Internment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
