Lucille (Mona) V. Ramsey, 78, of New Philadelphia, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2002.Born July 3, 1924, in Cambridge, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Faye Dragosin. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of the Dover Baptist Temple where she sang in the choir and was a member of their Golden Gems. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing the piano, yard work, and was a good listener for her family and friends.Surviving are two daughters, Rita (Tom) Murphy of New Philadelphia, Gale Langford of Dover, and a son, James (Liza) Ramsey of United Arab Emirates; three sisters, Norma (Tom) Hill of Navarre, Sarah Hanes of Cambridge, Mary Lam of Lore City; one brother, Charles (Kathleen) Dragosin; nine grandchildren, Rachel (Mike) Vaughan-Millican, Benjamin (Carrie) Vaughan, Timothy Vaughan and fiance Morgan Lawson, Jaclyn Vaughan, Elizabeth Langford, Ramsey Langford, Robert (Pepper) Ramsey, Jennifer Ramsey, Cassandra J. Ramsey; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson F. Ramsey, who passed away August 11, 1989; two brothers, William and Paul Dragosin; and sister, Reba Thomas.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2002, from 2-5 PM, at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, at 1:30 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Christopher Rhodes officiating. Following the service, family and friends are invited to the Dover Baptist Temple, 2896 St. Rt. 800, Dover, Ohio, for a reception.
