Louise Gorman

Louise Gorman, age 100, of New Philadelphia, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Born in Richview, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James and Creecy (Foster) Courtney and had graduated high school in Herod, Illinois. Louise was a homemaker, a seamstress and was extremely sharp at playing Bingo and Rummy with her friends. She also had attended the Church of Christ in New Philadelphia.

On April 9, 1953, she married William L. Gorman and together shared 36 years of marriage before his passing in January 1990. In addition to her parents and her husband, a step daughter, Phyllis Meyers is also deceased.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1:30 PM in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory is handling the arrangements.
