Louis G. Uland

Louis G. and Evaline B. Uland, of New Philadelphia, died within two weeks of each other. Born July 28, 1914 in Morgan, PA to the late Nicholas and Margaret Stager Brooker, Evaline died March 30, 2002. Lou was born January 23, 1914 in Petaluma, CA to the late George and Ileene Uland. He died April 14, 2002. The couple married in Sante Fe, NM in 1939 and settled in Pacifica, California. During the second World War, Lou served honorably with the Sea Bees. He worked as a painting contractor in San Francisco for many years while Evaline made their home. In 1998 the couple moved to New Philadelphia to be near the Pritz family. In addition to the Pritz’s, nieces and nephews survive in the Akron area. There will be no services. Lou and Evaline’s cremated remains will be scattered together off the coast of Half Moon Bay, California, south of San Francisco.
