Lorri B. DiGenova

Lorri B. DiGenova, 57, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2020, while surrounded by her six children.

Born in Ashland Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John and Wilma (Marcome) Horn. Lorri was a homemaker and was very proud of the fact that she had formerly worked as an EMT and Volunteer Firefighter in Cumberland, Maryland.

Surviving are her husband, Lance R. DiGenova of the residence; her six daughters, Jessica (Chris) Shumaker of Dover, Jennifer (Eric) Schmidt of Wappingers Falls, New York, Jackie (Rodney) Butler of New Philadelphia, Joeanne Thomas of Laurel, Maryland, Jordan (John) Bendure of Fort Lee, Virginia and Julia DiGenova of Akron. 11 Grandchildren, Madison Schmidt, Dayton and Justice Hughes, Braxton Steiner, Easton Butler, Mila Thomas, Elliot and Aiden Bendure and Reid, Gauge and Alyssa Jordan; her sisters, Darlene Rouse and Janet Chaffin; a nephew, Rodney Contini, her faithful pet “Duchess” and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 6 to 7 pm in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover where a funeral service celebrating Lorri’s life will begin at 7 PM with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. All guests are asked to wear a mask and respect the 6’ social distancing requirement while at the funeral home.

In keeping with Lorri’s wishes, following the funeral service, she is to be cremated through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.

It is the family’s wish that memorial contributions be made in Lorri’s memory to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
