Lorin H. Beaber

Lorin H. Beaber II, 52, Mineral City, died in an industrial accident on Tuesday, November 4, 2003.A son of Faye Stewart Beaber Dummermuth and the late David E. Beaber, Lorin was born on February 10, 1951, in Dover, Ohio.He was a l969 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and completed his freshman year at Ohio State University before returning to Tuscarawas County.He was most recently employed by Kimble Clay and Limestone in Dover, Ohio.Lorin was the hub of his family and found his greatest enjoyment in activities he shared with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan.He will be missed by his mother, a daughter, Stacey (Bill) Young of Mineral City; son, Lorin (Christina) Beaber, III of North Canton; five grandchildren, Corey Beaber, Sydney Young, Jaret Beaber, Spencer Young, and Grant Beaber; a sister, Laurie Beaber of Stone Creek; brothers, Robert (Jeanne) Beaber of Stone Creek and William D. Beaber of New Philadelphia; and five nieces and nephews.Lorin was preceded in death by his father and an infant granddaughter, Saylor Grace Young.Services will be Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 11 AM at Jerusalem Church in Stone Creek with Pastor Terry Downin officiating. Burial will be at Jerusalem Cemetery. A reception in the church social hall will follow the committal. Friends may call on the family at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday from 2:30 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00.
